About Us
Warwick Economics Society is the largest academic student-run society based at the University of Warwick that brings together more than 2800+ undergraduate and postgraduate students from 100+ different disciplines with a shared interest in Economics. We are committed to propagating freedom of knowledge, stimulating debate, and providing a platform for the exchange of ideas in an attempt to expose members to the brilliant social science that is Economics. We are able to provide this with the help of our many sponsors, most notably; Fidelity International, Charles River Associates (CRA) and of course the Department of Economics here at Warwick University, along with many more.
Throughout the year we run events catered towards all students. Some of our most prominent events include but are not limited to: a Ball for over 300 members, a domestic as well as an international tour and panels, workshops and case studies from economic experts in their respective fields. Additionally we are committed to giving our members a holistic university experience and therefore organise numerous social events throughout the year to create a stronger community within our society.
